I have this phonomenal little player called the Korg MR-1 that someone mentioned that they switched over from the 20g HDD to a 32gb cf . Could someone walk me through how to do this?

Do you know the Make and Model of the HD? You can cross ref it with what you would need to connect a CF card with. I did a few ipod minis, but they are plug & play. I have a CF to 1.8in. adapter for the MK2004GAL in my iriver hp-120 that I will use when the drive dies. Rockbox has an excellent section on replacing disks with CF, even if you device is not listed there is good info.

IDE and CF use the same interface... so all you need to do is change the port type from one to another.

chances are, you'll need something like this:
DealExtreme: $4.44 CF to Toshiba 1.8-inch IDE Hard Drive Converter

But, yeah, if you figure out what the make and model of the HDD is, you can figure out which IDE port it uses.
