Change Bose OE earcup to Sennheiser HD 229

Hi there,
 
I got HD 229 from previous month. And i just wonder, is this possible to replace Bose OE earcup to HD229 ?
 
I do love the soft pad from OE but don't know the inner dimention. So anyone who own Bose OE please leave the information here.

First you can try removing foam from the center. This (Astroid mod) will both improve comfort and clarity.

I've also use the Astroid mod. That's improve the sound quality. But i just wonder more comfortable OE is possible to apply on HD229 or not ?

I have tried that. I bought both the hd 239 and bose oe as a comparison an tried putting the oe earpads on the 239. They fit but do not click on so you will have to glue it on. It became really comfortable but made the sound all muffled. I would not do it.
