If i can advice you for an easy and cheap way to solve the probelm (and you won't be disappointed at all ) sell the hd580 on the sale forum ( it's an easy sell here ) ,and get the hd595 , I'm sure they will do the job you ask and more .
Try some research about them .
They go pretty well straight out of a portable , and also they improve quite a lot on amplification .
There are a lot of people saying great things about them to be involving , forward , soundstaging , deep bass , detailed
Theree are more then a couple of threads on hd595 .
