I'm currently using Foobar 2000 with a Chaintech AV710, optical toslink out to an external dac. I set it up using Mr. Radar's excellent guide, and everything works well (used to use the analog out, now I'm using the digital out). My problem: everytime I hibernate or sleep my computer, when it wakes up the chaintech doesn't work at all; when I try test tones using the Envy driver interface, it freezes up, and foobar won't output sound. I usually have to reboot or disable the chaintech and reenable it for it to work again. I've tried the latest drivers and the 1.43 drivers, both have the same problem. Any thoughts?

That's the reason I never put my PC to hibernation mode... and it's not just Foobar/Chaintech either...
