i wanna put the chaintechs in good use with 2.1 speakers instead of 5.1. Can 2.1 speakers (logitech z2200) be enabled in high sample mode? (24/96) how so? do you have to use foobar to have it in 24/96?(i use itunes)

Usually 2.1 speakers will only require that you plug in one jack (unlike how you usually have a separate jack for the sub and fronts on a 5.1/6.1/7.1 setup) so you can plug them into the high sample rate jack. For the high sample rate mode you can definately use iTunes, in fact you don't need to change any iTunes settings at all (if you have the AV-710 set as the default playback device in the Sounds & Audio Devices control panel).

If you use ASIO4All you can, however if your media player supports Kernel Streaming that works much better with the AV-710 than ASIO.
