Riviera is 5.1 ch soundcard using Cmedia chip, while AV710 can do 7.1 ch using via envy24HT-S chip. For me, chaintech is clear winner. Do not buy anything openbox. You are in trouble when openbox thing is not working. Get a retail even if you need to pay a few more dollors.
