The AV710 is $23 on newegg brand new, if you don't want an open box one.
chaintech has via envy24ht and turtle beach I think it is some kind of c-media chip..envy24ht would be my choice =)

They are quite different.
Riviera is 5.1 ch soundcard using Cmedia chip, while AV710 can do 7.1 ch using via envy24HT-S chip.
For me, chaintech is clear winner.
Do not buy anything openbox. You are in trouble when openbox thing is not working. Get a retail even if you need to pay a few more dollors.

Given my experience with the AV-710 (specifically, quality control), I would reccomend the Turtle Beach card.
