I emailed Chaintech and asked how the pins on the card connect to a cases front audio ports and here is their reply:

basically, there are 5 pins on the left hand side, 4 pins on the right.

you can find the following chart on your manual.

MIC -- -- AGND
X -- -- AVDD 5
FRONT R -- -- R
NC --
FRONT L -- -- L

Hope that helps anyone trying to figure it out.

i hooked mine up when i got it first....turns out when u unjumper the front panel pins u turn off the back panel too...

Chaintech seems to have emailed you a generic motherboard pinout, which does seem to be their target for designing this card but not quite the same. The difference is that the typical motherboard also has the 5V (AVDD 5) but the 710 does not. I'd made a pinout diagram (checked with multimeter) and linked it in another thread, a search should've found it but here it is again.
