Not sure if anyone has posted impressions about the Audeze LCD-2F with the Centrance M8?

Right now I am using the headphone output of my Meridian Explorer at about 70% volume ( 16/44 FLAC files, Windows 7 & Foobar2000). It's very nice, no major complaints from my old ears.

I use EasyQ to boost the bass and highs on some tracks that sound a bit dark, but mostly run flat without EQ.

I have purchased a good balanced cable. I am looking for a compact DAC/amp for both home and travel, with balanced output.

I am looking for a bit more clarity, separation, bass, etc.

another good option to look at is ifi micro iDSD. I have it on loan while waiting for my Chord Hugo to arrive and I must say it sounds great.
