I got pretty good headphones IMO for my cellphone, TF10 and HD598, and I also got a decent amp. However, I don't think the source from the cellphone is maximizing the headphones' ability. Even though I download from sites where it's 320(kbs?I forgot) I think the phone itself isn't a good source. Can anyone tell me a good portable device with amazing SQ? Price can't go over $300...

Get the $30 2GB Sandisk Clip+, and a 32GB microSDHC card to put in it. For around $60 you get a tiny great sounding 34GB player.
