Something in the back of my mind tells me that there is no major difference between the two, but I may just be going dumb... The 2ks are on sale somewhere secret for $160 shipped so i really wanna know if they are worth it, because my v6s died recently.

they aren't really even that similar. the CD3000's are much better phones. having said that, $160 for the 2k's seems like a pretty good deal, though i haven't been keeping up with their market value.
