The CD3k are awesome cans, but I hate the cable. It gets dirty so easily. I have no problems with the microphonics, but the dirt is starting to get to me. I just keep my cable in a cloth bag, but hope to find a more permanent solution.

Any suggestions?

I can't see how you have this problem. I just baby my CD3K's and give them a wipe over every one or two weeks and only ocassionally need to clean the cable... which really is just me being picky

Like commando asked... are you using these outdoors or something?
