Those are wonderful pictures thanx.
How does the Sony fit? That strap just above the earcups looks like it would pull them upwards all the time. It must be extremely flexible.

I had one question re: the AT models. I have the AT W1000, and, though I have had no problems with them, I think that the "wing" assembly feels rather cheaply constructed. I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find a direct comparison -- is the wing assembly on the W2002 exactly the same as that on the W1000? I, like others, feel that is the one area on the W1000 that it makes them feel a little cheap.

if they are like the cd1700, the strap extends out of spring loaded spools on the headband, self-adjusting to your head. it's very comfortable.

I second what redshifter said. If they're like the CD1700's they're very comfortable.

These pics are for everyone to look at and also to precede part II of the comparison, physical attributes. Contrary to redshifter, the fit of the CD3000 is not the same as the CD1700. I'll go into all that in the report, hopefully within a week or so. (yeah yeah, that's what I said about Part 1
