Agree with your point, I guess $250 is a VERY reasonable already!! Will not ask for more.

Heck, all they can do is say no. We've lost nothing and enjoyed the thought of getting a GREAT deal! Then again, if they say yes......I can only imagine the scene from that Akroyd and Eddie Murphy movie where they ran a scam on the NYSE.....a pit with crazed head-fiers shouting BUY, BUY, BUY! Fingers primed on that PayPal send fund button! What a hoot.

$250 does it for me.

Question to the group. IF this deal does come through, should the nay sayers on this thread be allowed to join the group buy? Or should we charge them a premium that will bring the final price closer to retail?

P.S. all the nay sayers' usernames have been recorded

I vote for charging them a premium........

and this premium, could be donated to the headfi site as a contribution (the premium only, so if they refuse to pay the premium, we know that they do not want to contribute with head-fi...

So, any update on pricing? Is the 250 dollars + shipping is realistic or just speculation?

no harm in trying - but for $200 - they might give you a cd3k headphone without the band and replace the cd3k driver with an earplug driver..........
