Heck, all they can do is say no. We've lost nothing and enjoyed the thought of getting a GREAT deal! Question to the group. IF this deal does come through, should the nay sayers on this thread be allowed to join the group buy? Or should we charge them a premium that will bring the final price closer to retail?

and this premium, could be donated to the headfi site as a contribution (the premium only, so if they refuse to pay the premium, we know that they do not want to contribute with head-fi...

no harm in trying - but for $200 - they might give you a cd3k headphone without the band and replace the cd3k driver with an earplug driver..........
