CD3000, and SA5000, what are the differences?

I have a CD3000 coming soon, and am very interested in hearing some impressions, as compared to the SA5000, which I love by the way! I know that the CD3000 is a closed can, and I never had a closed set before. Can you enlighten me with some impressions.

The CD3000 has more bass and a wider soundstage. The SA5k has more detail. The presentation is similarly dry between the two.

How big is the bass difference between the two?

The CD3000 has more bass but it has less detail and it's a fair bit slower. There's more impressions over in the Hamilton Meet thread.
