Hi guys, I'm looking for a cd player around 3000, any suggestions?

Currently still running my 2004 Rotel RCD-1072 CD player, which I'll eventually have to replace.

Anyway, I've been looking at the Marantz SACD 30N and really like it, but I'm not sure I'll be using all the other bells & whistles with it. Still though I love it's looks and capabilities. And I don't know if I have enough SACD's to justify it.

Also, under serious consideration is Teac's VRDS-701T CD Transport. Really loving that one as well.

I've got about a year to decide though as it'll either be a Christmas present to me, or a birthday gift early next year

That of course assumes the Rotel doesn't go out before then.

The Technics VRDS-701 you mean. Yeah forgot about that. That is swell to. Having great reviews on their DAC. Think this one is a no brainer.

Its DAC section is similar with Esoteric's NX-05 and has an upconversion function.

Hi.
From me, take a nice cd transport like Cambridge CXC v2 - could be other brand as well - buy a good DAC ( no need for a expensive one ) and the rest spend on cd's. You will still have some money left.

Forgot about the Denon DCD 1600 NE.
Present on one of the YouTube channels. Paired with some good electronics. Might be a good idea. Maybe worth attention.
What else, bit more expensive - Exposure new child 3510 cd player.

Well unless Teac was bought out by Technics, the link I provided clearly says "Teac". The online retailers I visited for price such as Moon Audio, clearly state "Teac"

Yeah. but my post was about what "I" was also interested in. And just as I knew it was a Teac, I also know it's a transport, and why I linked to that one
