I love the amp and I (obviously) love my headphones but my CD player really sucks (I won't even mention the brand).

I'm looking at possibly buying:

CEC CD3300 from Audiocubes or,
Onix xcd-99 from AV123.com or,
Azur 640C from Audioadvisor.com or,
If I can find a (cheap) used one... Music Hall MMF-25.

I'd appreciate your input on which of these (or other suggestions) would best fit my setup.

I went from a low end DVD player to the Onix XCD-88(which was the previous model to the Onix XCD-99.)

And to be totally honest, the difference is sound quality is very minimal.
If I spend sometime A/B comparing the 2 CD players. I only noticed that in my old player some of the vocals sounded a little thin compared to my new one.

And if I had to do a blind test, I probably couldn't tell.
But, I was able to tell a big difference when I tried the Rega Planet 2000.

I don't think the players you listed will give you enough of a difference to justify spending the money.

I would either increase your budget or go for something used.
I have to admit I haven't listened to the other CD players on your list.
