Hello,
I have few questions and scenarios that I would like to ask about:
• What are the usage scenarios of streamers? I am not quite sure about the advantage of using streamer, given that we can use remote app to control Macbook connected to the DAC. I am talking strictly about 2 channels stereo system AND headphones system, where no need for multi room streaming. Recently I have encountered few reviews with a claim that streaming is better (sonically) compared to a direct USBconnection between computer and DAC. Any thoughts?
• What about (USB connection between macbook and DAC) vs (CD ripper storage and DAC)? Any significant audible difference?
• Did any of you have noticed that ripping CD on dedicated CD ripper is better compared to regular ripping using Macbook?
