I want to transfer a bunch of audio books to CD in MP3 format.
The last time I tried this the files got converted and expanded from MP3 to ???.
Do I need special software to copy them to CD in MP3 format (if so do you have a suggestion as to what freeware is best), or do I just need to know the proper procedure within Windows XP?

TIA

What he said. Just make sure you burn the tracks in "data" mode, not audio/music. Most if not all software lets you choose before you place the files on, which are usually already defaulted in "data" mode. If it asks you to make a music cd instead, say no. I personally use nero and a real old ver. of mmjb.
