Anyone else having a problem with the RU6 where you can't hear the first 0.5s of the first track you play? This also happens on videos and youtube.
When I play something, there will be an audible click coming from the RU6, like it's loading the track first. As a consequence, I wasn't able to hear the first 0.5s of the track.
Yes, I posted a few times about this in the RU6 and UAPP threads. The 2nd update addressing this issue worked for me when in the USB Audio Tweaks menu you set DAC warm- up time to 500 milliseconds.
Make sure you have the latest version of the app AND restart your phone after the update with the change in the settings being done.
Having said that... I'm going to part with my RU6 as I bought a DAP that I will pick up at CanJam Singapore. If anyone's interested and is coming to the show send me a PM and I'll give you a show-stopping price.

No matter how much I love my R2R dongle the Noble Sultan that I bought much later needs more power to keep its bloomy bass in check, while it also has the same lower treble accentuation that RU6 has. Both great products but as a combination I felt that only having fabulous mids wasn't good enough. I moved up to PAW6000. And already know I'm going to long back for RU6 mids...
According to Cayin (see attached email), this is normal and is caused by the "mute circuit", deliberately muting the first 0.5 seconds of audio. This is a dealbreaker for me. Will try to return this.
What does anyone think is the best choice is between the Cayin RU6 or Hiby RS2, based purely on sound?
My usage scenario would be using either one as a USB DAC connected via USB to a DAP, such as a Shanling M6 Pro and probably using UAPP as the player. I would also be using an additional amp in a line out config (such as Topping NX7) for a 3 story stack. I understand that the Cayin doesn't strictly provide line out but can be used in that config out of its 3.5 or 4.4mm PO's. Thanks for any advice!

Found: volume 74 is more clarity and expansive and vocal place is locate futher than that of 75. Volume 75, even was in OS mode, sounds like in NOS!
To make fullsize hd800s to be work as a "wireless" headphone, I need a tiny dap.
