NOS doesn’t really sound NOS IMO , probably that double filters and OS. So, I don’t worry much about Darwin as an additional features. But MSEB is great to have if you love systemwide EQ.

You can always go to settings >> apps >> all apps >> look to top right corner and see the 3 dots >> tap on it and choose system apps >> disable all that you don’t need

Another more efficient way is to use ADB commands, but those were not found by me, so you will have to visit it creator site

My 2 weeks old N8ii doesn’t wake up anymore…. Any idea? Last time I switched it off it has approximately 80% battery left. I am on the latest fw. (I tried many things, like charging it for 2 hours and with different cable).

No combo of buttons held down for 30+ seconds with the power button work either? If you've gone through all the charging options, IE change cable, charger and so forth and tried the button combo's with no luck, then I think you're out of options and it's time to contact support.

But try this combo, plugging in a charging cables, better with a PC than a charger, hold down power, play and forward, possibly 20 seconds. If that doesn’t move anywhere, try Power, play, reverse buttons. If that doesn’t help it then I wouldn’t know

I have kind of a qwirky issue. A bit annoying but not a show stopper. Somehow the pull down menu has gone transparent and it is difficult to see the options. Any ideas on how to correct this ? I have tried resetting everything and didn't have any effect.

I know what you are talking about, but I can't exactly remember what I did to fix it to avoid having to restart, and can't get n8ii into that state right now. I think it was a back arrow, the back button, or I cycled active windows and was able to get control from another window when active. I think it's just the edit function that goes wonky and freaks out. Wish I could be more help, all my sympathy though. It's a dumb bug.

Edit: I'd ask in the main forum for N8ii, you'd get a better chance for a useful reply.

I reinstalled to factory settings. Had to reinstall Tidal and Qobuz but no big deal. Never have found what caused it.
I’ve been charging 20% to 80% but the player has started charging to 100% whether the player is on or off. Not a problem as long as I keep track and check after 2 hours.
