Hi thomas, i hope u can mass produce a sleek leather sleeves for the n6 coz the silicone sleeve is rather boring and inconvenient

 
I handmade one myself, brought the tools online and practice for 3 nights, the case is a little rough.

Ha! I use my DAPs naked! No leather for me, but if I had to choose I would say a reddish brown, rust, deep brown...... Something along those veins. This thing is CLASSY but the UI needs a bit of work.

You're slowly working your way to AK and HiFiMan territory

Well, 'bout a grand is my upper limit.  So a HiFiMan would be in the ballpark, AK nope.  That's why I'm interested in the Cayin and the Fiio X7, though I think the X7 is going to be a bit too bloated, features-wise, for my tastes.  
 
Of course, if I win the Lotto I'll buy a 240 and have it modded and buy the special cable and buy a Layla and buy the special cable and run 'em through the Hugo with the special cable and get a really nice custom made case to carry it all (or maybe hire a servant to carry it for me!!!).

olddude-I've had several AK units, and the difference between the 240 and the 100ii is negligible to my ears. Power and memory, were the biggest differences to me.

Also,
I am not sure about synergy with your iem's/headphones, however I have owned both the ak100ii and currently the n6, and I prefer the n6 based on sound alone.
Though this is purely subjective, as it tends to be when you are playing with this quality of DAP.
It starts to trend away from good or bad and comes down to preference.

... and I already expressed my view on this.  Give me AK120ii compact footprint with hw/touch controls + Cayin N6 sound and make it around $1k - and I will never have to buy (or in my case "to review") another DAP/amp again
