Just picked up a Liquid Fire and wanted to install tube dampers. So following the manual I unscrewed the six screws on the bottom of the amp holding the top cover. But is there a trick to removing the cover? I managed to slide the cover back enough to gain access to the tubes but that was awfully hard (trying to refrain from swearing!) and I'm hesitant to put it back because I'll be getting new tubes in a few weeks.
Any advice/help would be appreciated.
