Quas has responded well to vitamin b shot and some hydration IV weekly. She’s over 18, how much? Who knows.

Lovely lady @whazzup. I’ve had a cat live to 17, you treat her very well! :beerchug:

Thx, we retired in our early 40’s and we got her soon after, so attachment goes both ways. We give her gabapentin twice daily for arthritis, simetra 1 a day for kidneys, now vitamin b and fluids weekly. She’s slowing down but still eats, drinks, and splays, purrs, and rolls. So keep it going

We got to take quas to the vet this morning. Yowled at night, although mobile And tail semi up, haunches, despondent looking for comfort in litter box, cat bed…stares at nothing. Puked and has some anal issues. Fortunately our vet is in and can see us, but I dread it as well. My wife says quas is coming back with us, but I’m never sure….

quas update tail up and jowling good sign, repeated stays in litter box bad sign

So far ok, we haven’t had a cat/pet for the full circle of life, so over protective parents is what quas got. We don’t know when it’s time, the vet says, you will know. So the vet shaved the flouf butt, gave her anti nausea shot, her weight down some from a few weeks ago, but tail up, ate some treats and kibble, so keep it going. Thx for letting me vent some. Try not to smother the forum with quas updates.

The toughest part of owning a car, by far, is the end.
And it tends to be super expensive, on top of the pain.

Again, good luck.

I love my girls, but by far the biggest struggle is the two of them taking turns trying to sleep on anything warm around my desk. Thankfully they spend most of their time on the PC case or my 10gbe switch. Sometimes I wonder if they are just long haired lizards LOL!
