Anyone know any good bands that focus on this kind of music?
Just love those old 8-bit sounds! I've been listening to a few random bands I've found lurking on the net, all of whom seem to have made only one or two songs in this style

I need more!

Crystal Castles, Golden Shower, Pornophonique, Atom and his Package, and Casiotone for the Painfully Alone all sound pretty good, but I'm looking for some real posthardcore/techno/glitch with 8bit sounds (in addition to the Golden Shower link above check out 'Alice Practice' here: MySpace.com - Crystal Castles - ,.,,, SH - Thrash / Thrash / Thrash - www.myspace.com/crystalcastles I LOVE THIS TUNE)

Check out Machinae Supremacy. They play what they call "SID Metal", wish is pretty much decent metal with a VGM twist and a Commodore 64's sound chip for a synthesizer.

Plus they've got quite a bit for download on their website.

No problem.

In particular, check out their track "SIDology Episode 2: Trinity". It's like 12 and a half minutes long and incorporates some pretty classic (and recent) video game tunes into an otherwise really good progressive/power metal arrangement.
