Why is the casing of the Lyra so big when the motherboard is not that large inside? Except design reasons of course.
Any other interest of doing this? (that is not a sarcastic question)
Perhaps because Casea is a small company. They makes their products in small batch production so I guess it is not easy for them. On the other hand they offer top quality for reasonable price.
Good news is that we can expect new preamp Lyra 2 and dac Cepheus 2 this year.
Yes, I can proof that Casea Lyra is very good solid amplifier. With HD 800 it sounds great. The price is very attractive. Daniel Vrána is excellent technician and him product sounds beautifuly. The cost is very atractive, you obtain very serious quality. The version with DAC is very good choice. The friends from Czech republic (Kuba4, Pasul ...) are true audiophile enthusiasts, music lovers.
