I am buying Acid's RS-1's, but I want to get a case for them that will make sure that they are kept safe from any bad things. I was thinking of a pelican case. What do you guys think? Is it a little to obsessive?

I don't think it's obsessive wanting to protect a $400 pair of headphones, try sensible.

As for the Pelican case, I think jude used one for his SR-325s quite happily before. They are supposedly very rugged.

You can also try a small safe or one of those metal bullet proof cases as well.

Camera case are the best, they have a aluminium body and come with foam you can cut to size. The foam is very easy to cut because it "pre-cut" to a grid patten but they stay together unless you really cut it. It's deep enough, cheaper then pelican case and you get a lock.
