Hello,
I wonder if anyone has a Cary Xciter integrated, and if they have performed the capacitor upgrades. It seems that many Cary amp owners opt to replace the caps, and Cary offers a standard upgrade for the Xciter, but I haven't read much from users about the results of this upgrade. I bought this last fall and I really like it. I expect to keep it for a long time so would like to take it to the next level. The upgrades are Cardas Golden Ratio caps (or Jensen caps) and replacing the filament supply with a DC supply.
Anyone have any knowledge? Thanks!
