Hi,

I recently got a Cary Xciter amp for my HD-800 phones, few days ago it had developed some static noise in the right channel, follow by a loud pop then the right channel cuts out completely. I thought it was the tubes so I replaced them with another spare I have, same thing and now the right channel just doesn't work. I can hear some statics from it although not very loud.

At this point, I don't think it's the tubes as I replaced them all. Left channel is working fine though. Any other suggestions? I bought the Xciter used a month ago so I'm not sure how the warranty works.

Contact Cary, hopefully it is something minor like a surge which blew a fuse. But it should be checked.
