Thanks again to all for the input here. I just sent payment to RS for a Raptor. Looks like I may be going another direction for my 2-channel audio needs. I may yet end up with a Cary, but I've been ogling a Pathos Classic One.

It's a long road ahead though...lots of listening & demoing to do.
