Carver C1 preamp

Does anyone have any expeience with the Carver C1 preamp for headphone use? I like all of he inputs/outputs & features - not sure if the sonic halography will do anythng for me. I have a chance to pick one up for about $100 or so at a pawn shop. Is it any better, or as good as my Marantz 1060, or my Creek OBH-11 - just wondering if I should go for it?
