My fellow Head-Fi members:
I have an opportunity to acquire a mint pair of Cardas Neutral Reference Interconnecting Cables (0.5m) for a steal! However, this opportunity will undoubtedly pass me up should I procrastinate my decision to purchase them. I know nothing when it comes to audio but I did read somewhere on the Internet that cables tend to be the last five percent or "icing on the cake" in an audio / video rig. However, not all cables sound the same nor do the same cables sound great in all rigs.
So, should I take this opportunity to get the Cardas Neutral Reference ICs (0.5m) for no financial loss on my end of the bargain or should I pass on them? I would rather not reveal the potential seller of these cables or the price at which we have negotiated for fear of having someone else snatch them up before I do. I know that these cables are somewhat akin to lore in their own right. Thank you for your answers but please do post your replies as soon as possible.
