Im interested in a replacement cable for my HD600's. Nobody seems to mention the Cardas. Anyone familiar with this cable. Interested in comparisons between other cables for the Sennheisers as well.

Cardas is great for hd600 and is considered by many to be the "standard" cable to use for the hd600. Its incredibly accurate, and the extension is top notch. The equinox doesn't have the extension, but is a little more forgiving and has bigger and better soundstage, it blooms farther out more.

Actually, if you search farther back (before HD650s took over), most people recommended Cardas with HD600s. At that time, it was Cardas vs Equinox (Clou Red and Blue were out of the running fairly early).

I went with Cardas because I didn't like the idea that Equinox cables are spliced into stock Sennheiser connectors; i.e. there is a couple centimeters of stock cable left in the signal path.

I too recommend the Cardas. I've heard it with HD600 and HD650 (my own), even in balanced configuration. A search will turn up lots of info.
