WOW. so newegg has a 20 dollar mail in rebate deal going on for the carbon. if you were going to buy the carbon anytime soon take a look at this

plus tax for those newegg states that charges tax.

but still a good deal.

downside is that carbon doesnt have good features such as the zen micro. no on the fly playlists or delete songs. no fm radio. voice recorder records the buzzing harddrive sound.

i would personally buy the carbon, only if it had on the fly playlist/delete.

Nice price! Definalty worth getting if considering a microdrive player, unless you need features like FM radio, etc. Aparantly there will be a form of OTF playlists for the carbon in the future, but I can't conform that.
