Planning on getting a dac/amp for my bedside rig to use with my laptop. Headphones are going to be portapros, senn hd 25-1 ii, fa-003, and maybe my utlrasone pro 750 as well and some low impedence iem's.
I was pretty much set on getting the UHA-4 as it could also serve as a portable amp if i ever wanted to use it as such but I just saw an opportunity for the carat emerald dac/amp - based on reviews, it seems quite good and it's a great deal.
does anyone have any advice on which of the two would be better?
