Car alarms are useless. I wish that they were outlawed. They go off all the time so they obviously aren't stopping any crime.

In fact thieves will deliberately set off alarms repeatedly in neighborhoods. Then people figure they are malfunctioning and turn them off. Then the thief loots the cars in peace.
