Hi, wondering if anyone could explain to me (or point me to the right FAQ/guide) how you choose the correct Cap values, voltages, etc, in an amp...(I guess you could say...how to "roll" caps)

Just remember to put them the right way. They tend to fail nastily if put backwards.

I once fed 290V DC the wrong way through the reservoir cap in a nice tube amp. Made a loud bang and some funny smell.
