I've a lot of customs, none have a stubborn cable such as my jh16pro.  I just received it yesterday and I can't for the life of me remove the cable, I have a custom cable for it and I am trying to swap it.  Is something wrong here? It is requiring a really uncomfortable amount of force that results in nothing.  I fear breaking it, anyone else have trouble removing their JH16pro Freqphase stock cable?

My 13pro with freqphase was a pain as well.  I had to use a pair of pliers and it still wasn't the easiest thing in the world to do.

You used pliers?! Did it damage the cables?!

Nope, the acrylic that they cast the cable ends in is sturdy as can be.  I also have large fingers and should clarify that I used a small precision set that wouldn't create even as much clamping force as my pinched fingers.

I don't own the jh16. Another headfier reported using an exacto blade to remove the cable, very slowly, The internal pins are tight but eventually the cable will come out.
