It was about equalization on a computer using "pink noise" to adjust the sound to suit a particular pair of headphones, like through WinAmp or some player like that. It also said it would be more difficult for my Grado's because of their jagged response, and offered some links to download a player/EQ'ing program after an in-depth explanation of EQ'ing. I believe it was a post by a Head-Fi admin, and was pinned to the forum but I can't find it after doing searches. Is it gone? I hope not because I like these headphones but I really want more out of them and the sound is not as good as it could be. Not an expert here, though. Very much an amateur. Help would be appreciated. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot, started a thread when I should have commented on an existing thread, didn't search well enough, etc.

Also, it's been a very long time since I've been to this site.

Edit: The objective was to achieve a "flat" response, I think?
