Hello,

I would really appreciate a little help. I tried different DACs but I can't enable Dolby Atmos for Headphones on a Fiio or Topping or even Chord Mojo 2, because Windows 11 only offers 32bit. Windows only allows the maximum of the specific DAC and I can't downgrade to 16 bit or 24 bit in the sound settings.

When I use my sound card or the onboard sound, I can select 16 or 24 bit.

Is there a way to fix this? Maybe some registry entries? Delete 32 bit option from the Chord Mojo 2 or from Windows?

Windows allows you to pick a lower rate like 24 bit, it's likely installed sound software that's causing the block. I'd first make a restore point, and remove any bundled sound software you know you don't need. Windows can handle the drivers for almost any sound device by itself. The problem usually happens when Windows updates, but some bundled sound software breaks. If you don't have the bit rate option in the drop down box, software is causing it.
