Here's what i have currently: auzentech xplosion soundcard (pretty good, i like it
) -------> sennheiser hd 595s.
I have high bitrate music (half lossless, half 192 vbr +). i think my source is pretty good (including the soundcard).
I would like to keep my combination of headphones/amp under 300$. the 595s are 140$ (or that's what they cost me).
Would i be better off going for more expensive cans? or possibly a low end amp?
where would i see the biggest improvement?
What would you do?
diy the amp?
get better headphones?
stick with the current setup?
