right now there's a deal that expires today here http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/ATH-M50-PROMO where I can get a pair of m50s for about $110. is the m80 worth an additional 90 dollars? i'm looking for a pair of headphones that's comfortable, stylish, somewhat portable, and good for dubstep, hip-hop, and more chill stuff

If you want something that's stylish, you should just go for the M-80!  I can't say that the M50 looks nearly as nice, myself.  But that is a pretty good deal there.  I haven't heard the M50 myself, so I can't really recommend the M-80 over it simply due to sound.
