I'm still waiting on my cheques to arrive to place an order for the JH13. In the meantime I need some cans to hold me over. Currently I have a Sony MDR-7506 for listening at home and Westone UM1 for portable use.
I'm looking to get something to replace the Sony MDR-7506. Preferably open because I've yet to own open cans before, besides the PX100.
I'm looking for a nice balanced sound signature. The Sony 7506 is quite nice except for the treble which can be horrendously painful at times.
I've been looking at the Grado SR60, since its a classic and I've yet to own one.
Music will primarily be jazz, because that's what I listen to most of the time when I'm home.
Oh yeah btw my budget is $100. $120 tops.
