Hello all,

New here on head-fi, but I've lurked for a while and read some great advice, so I finally joined up
smily_headphones1.gif
Looking for some opinions on the following:

I have an Essence STX card on the way (should be here soon) which I will be using as my main source. I will also be using a stereo CD deck and turntable, but since most of my music is digital, my computer is probably where I'll be spending the most time.

Assuming I'm running off the computer most of the time, I've been looking for some full size cans that will give me a bigger listening experience than my ES7s (which I love). My big concerns are clarity, great SQ, and while I'm not a huge bass-head, that should be balanced enough. I've been looking at the k701 and the A900 since those are both in my price range (around 250), but I'm open to other suggestions.

Ok head-fi - hit me with your best!

ATH-M50s and a good DAC. If you use a computer as a source, you'll be astounded by the improvement a good DAC makes, even in files that are not great quality.
