I can give an impression of the hotel if that counts. Great location, and I'm glad that jpnums picked it. Should be plenty of space for tomorrow's setups.

Shoot, it kicks off in less than eight hours from now. I just finished packing all my gear, so methinks it's time for a short snooze!

well lets see...i dont want to say that i agree with mike or dom but the math speaks for itself.
2+2 = 4.
4+4 = 4.
e^(i x pi) = -1.
adding equation 1, 2 and 3 we get, sarasota > san mateo. therefore by induction, a sarasota meet > san mateo meet.
as a result the proper title for the san mateo meet should be "we arent as cool as the sarasota meet but we would like to pose as if we were and would like to steal the sarasota team's title of canjam 8.5 and call it our own." but then again, that would have been too long of a title to print on a poster anyways. not to mention, all the nor cal folk arent creative enough that they had to steal gene's brain child "can jam."
