Seriously waiting on the Ltd Caldera and Atrium closed versions. Huge ZMF fan here. True works of art and sound amazing. I have other headphones that may be more accurate and technically advanced, but the organic sound that just flows from their cans is fantastic.

Agreed. As a Utopia owner and lover, I can tell you the first thought in my head (right after "dammit, I didn't WANT to love these!") was "is this MORE DYNAMIC than Utopia?" I'm not convinced 100% after a brief 5 minute listen on the show floor, but I am absolutely intrigued enough to put this on my potential endgame list for future research.

As a new Spirit Torino headphone owner, and new to the brand, I can say they really have a dynamic unique sound. Something truly special with tubes. Almost lifelike.

I wish I could go the Chicago event. However, I am planning to visit family in TX in November and arranging to make it to the Dallas CanJam. Are you on-site for Dallas?

Did anyone try the Axel Grell Heavys metal headphones? I backed it in Kickstarter just out of curiosity . They said that they were at CanJam and I’m wondering if anyone had any impression of them

Have you gotten any update when they will be delivered? The site still says May for presumably everyone who ordered last year, but they have been unresponsive to my emails.

Is there no thread on these headphones? Is it because the tech seems odd and no one's taking them seriously? It is Axel Grell. I figured they were relatively cheap enough to be worth trying.

Some people are apparently getting the products now. I’m a backer in the #3K-ish area and from the last thing I saw, they’ve secured my address and it’s just waiting for shipment.

Part of me is hoping that this multi driver technology will work. They should have sent samples to reviewers so we can have an idea on how it sounds.
