Did you get a chance to demo Brise silver in the end?
Yes I did with storm and my viking I love the 8w Yatono ultimate but there was no 8w silver cable and all I can really say is the silver 4w just enhanced(verryy subtle vs my stock cable Magnus 8w) what's already the strengths of the iems except bass. it's left me wanting to know what kind of difference the 8w silver would make because 4w Yatono ultimate vs 8w Yatono ultimate is a huge leap to my ears on the viking, holographic staging smooth(romantic mids) hint of analog sound blacker background.

Just to clarify 4w silver wider stage very small difference, treble is about the same maybe smoother and less sibilance than Magnus 8w.

I think the highlight of the silver 4w was speed/smooth treble especially for a silver cable/wider staging/dynamic

A lot of tubes, but really needed? SE802S are selected ECC802S - Telefunken, Tesla, JJ, etc.

SENNHEISER HE1 TUBE REPLACEMENT/HOW TO REPLACE THE TUBES

How much is the tube replacemenet set? $10k?

Uhmm, Woo 3ES 'stat amp uses Apex PA97 opamp as output stage.
What electrostatic amps output direct from tubes?

@Sebastien Chiu - Is that DMS in disguise as a prono cop, or just someone who has an interesting style?
Porno cop… lol no silly he’s the with Headphone Police, but yes that’s DMS

Not owned the K712 and it's been a while since I've had the 1990s (which I loved), and based on less-than-ideal listening to the HD660S2 at Canjam, I'd say it's closer in technicalities to the DT1990's than any other 6x0's I've owned (600, 660s, 58x?). 660S2 sounds better extended than its predecessors, faster transients, slightly better imaging/staging, I'd say. But whether one is better than the other, I can't say.

I had K 712s back in the day and it doesn’t quite have that energy that Austrian AKGs had nor the soundstage width but, I would say it was definitely more natural and completely agree in the sense that it is better extended better, with more defined transients, an overall improvement on the modern 600 series

I don’t think it’s gonna do as well for like FPS game play but otherwise I would say it’s on par & more to my taste than the k712 & 1990 pro for music/tv ect…

I did get a chance to spend some time with it before the show started in a relatively quiet room and it really was quite impressive,

It's an ECP DSHA-3F. Nitsch is working on an updated version that should be available in the next month or so.
I heard this stack with the premier of the Caldera's back at SoCal CanJam. Outstanding timbre, clarity and power. A very good stack match with the Caldera's.

Have anyone tried the Radon6 by Fir Audio? Any photos?!
I’m really impressed by the sub bass from XE6, it is the wow factor to me, which I much prefer. That sub and mid bass reminds me of what my favorite Tia Fourte OG is missing.

The newly debut Radon6 is more neutral.

Radon6 imo is taking away what makes xenon6 so good and special imo. Just for that more neutral feeling...

Falls between the Kr5 and Xe6. I only tried the silver and red modules. Silver was pretty similar to the Kr5. Maybe a bit brighter and more neutral. Red was more like the Xe6 in the mids and lows, but overall less dramatic

I ended up buying a Caldera this past weekend at CanJamNYC after listening to it on a bunch of stuff in the ZMF room, including the OG DSHA-3F. It did sound quite nice. What solidified it though was the performance out of my P6Pro. Not that it was better than everything else but that it was damn good running off the DAP.
