The one on left, I forgot the name, is cleaner sounding. At higher volume it maintained an even sound and the bass was cleaner and deeper as compared to Voce.Voce has more bass but the new one is cleaner.
However it was very crowded and noisy

Super cool experience! I just wish I could try it with my isolation system, and source chain which I think will work some real magic with HE-1 but it is impractical to bring them all compared to just bring this single box home lol My guts tell me I could make it sound even much better…

First time to a can jam. It’s been an amazing experience! Am fairly new to the headphone scene.
My first priority was to try out things in my price range and then some gear slight above my range.

Some standouts for me:

  1. Sennheiser HD660s2. I really enjoy the midrange of HD6xx, just wish it has more bass. The 660s2 really did it for me.
  2. Meze 109 pro. Very dynamic sounding and it just looks beautiful. Very comfortable to boot!
  3. Woo Audio WA7 fireflies. Really compact and powerful tube dac/amp with a really small footprint. Perfect for the small nyc apartments.
  4. What took the cake for me was ZMF Atrium (open). Heard them thru Feliks Audio Echo. I fell in love with this pairing! Guitars just sound amazing thru it! Tired the Atrium Closed too but personally preferred the opens. The Closed had more bass and sub bass but overall preferred the soundstage and airiness of the opens. Think I may have found my endgame pair of headphones. And it’s only slightly above budget for me. And before yesterday I had never heard of ZMF. I also tested the VO, it sounded great as well but overall I preferred the sound signature of the Atriums.

Yes the Corina, on the left being the new release I would suspect to have this increase in sound difference over the Voce, which is a little more relaxed. I would assume, though I have not heard the Corina, that it is even more transparent but yes, in the environment of a show, it is so hard to really get a handle on the sound.

The Valkyria is outrageously good. The Pulsar is 10% worse in my judgement. I think the extra cost is worth it. It’s on my buy list after I buy the T2

I didn’t like the Corina. Hard pass, it does nothing better than other estats

I have not heard them. But from reading, some like them a lot and some, like yourself are neutral or don't care for them. So much divergence in sound preference and what we hear.

What did you hear them with? The BH?

I read yesterday there would be more people hearing the Corina but don't read much of anything.

No more Corina listening?

I am reading almost nothing about DAPs. Weren't there any at the show? Mostly full sized headphones and amp.
