Try the Dunu Luna as I mentioned in above post. Also, JH Audio Layla, Unique Melody at the MusicTeck table, Sony z1r to name a few. Enjoy.I’m not an IEM guy but do suggest some nice IEM to check out in the show. Will spend time with them.

Day One Impressions:
Eletech Cables - Tried the Prudence, Plato and Iliad. Liked all three, but the Iliad does come out on top, great separation and air using it with my EE Phantoms. For those familiar with the EA Leonidas II, it’s similar in sound to the 8-wire version; but I think the Iliad is slightly better.
Chord Electronics - tried the Hugo 2 with the 2Go. Very nice sound and it will fit into many use cases. For me, I see it as a portable streaming DAC to use around the house, out on the deck while sipping a dram of whisky, etc.
Noble Audio - tried the M3. Good sound, a little light on the bass for me, but the fit / ergonomics is great. It fits flush with my ear and I could easily sleep in while traveling. This could be a great travel IEM for those looking for something in a universal.
SpinFit - gave the CP100 a try and liked them. Comfortable and easy to put onto my IEMs. Will definitely use their CanJam code to order some from Amazon tomorrow.
Sony - listened to the NW-ZX507 and was impressed. Good sound for my tastes, great ergonomics, use to use / navigate UI, and great screen saver that shows a cassette tape.
Campfire Audio - listened to the Solaris SE and really liked it, although a tade light on bass for some genres I listen too (soundtracks), but that’s a personal taste. Fit wise, I thought it fits better than the Solaris OG. If buying a Solaris today, I would go with the SE due to the fit.
ZMF - listed to the Vérité Open and Auteur Open. What really needs to be said, both are great headphones, and bring the bass when the track has it. One of these two will be my next headphone. @Zachik close today, but will need to wait until Chicago.
Candy - was not disappointed. @Eric Chong provided the sugar for the day, hazelnut / chocolate truffles. The Iliad and truffles pair very nice and are quite tasty!

Now this hurts.
Hey Kids.
This was my first CanJam. Previous trade show experience has been in the likes of Apple, Adobe, and Progressive Motorcycle and Boat shows. As such, I was conditioned to expect something huge in scope. Instead, this was small and intimate which I actually now prefer. Interactions were much more personal.
As a very happy owner and daily user of a HiBy R6 Pro, I was excited to see the R8. They didn't have any official specs and the price was guesstimated to be around $2K (max).
For those interested, Focal is selling headphones at 20% off MSRP and, get this, no VAT/tax.
Anyway, here are some environment shots from today to give you a feel of the show. Definitely go if you have the time tomorrow. Just stay away from the Elmos. There's a turf war going on.

As soon as I read that I thought of you; I could feel the knife twisting.

Love seeing the photos and impressions. Perhaps one day there will be a Canjam in Utah.

I tried a LOT of headphones this year, but came home with Focal Stellia's
I was sort of impressed with the HEDD phones, but just too heavy, and I wasn't convinced so much with the bass, although it's hard to really judge a more or less open phone at the show.
The weight made it really uncomfortable for me.
Abyss was impressive as always, and the new Dan Clark AON 2's were very good! I had Joyce DiDonato's "Agrippina" and "Faust" with me. Instrumental separation was great on the DCA's, and not too bad on the HifiMan Arya's.... but the combination of dynamics, clarity, and detail sold me on the Stellia's for the genres I listen to, usually classical and jazz. Plus, they sound great on a humble Hugo 2, or even the various DAPs I tried also.
Not much of a display for Schiit this year, and where was FiiO?

Hey mate, what Sony's DAPs you saw there? Waiting for a new 1A/1Z android version.Have to say this one was impressive with HD6XX. This is not launched yet but will come in drop. In case you are wondering it is fully balanced and has a switch with HD6XX DSP
Look at this wallpaper on SONY new DAPs
Also liked this Solid state Amp from Headamp
GSX MINI. Plenty of power and smooth. Had nice pairing with Qutest. Not in the class of DSHA 3F but close to it. It has nice features as well.

Unfortunately, travel restrictions due to coronavirus prevented several exhibitors from attending, including FiiO.
No, it was not 1A or 1Z. It was ZX507 AND A105 with android. I asked about the android version of 1A and 1Z but nothing atleast for near futureHey mate, what Sony's DAPs you saw there? Waiting for a new 1A/1Z android version.

How much different were the Stellia to the Elegia?I tried a LOT of headphones this year, but came home with Focal Stellia's

There's definitely a strong family resemblance, but Stellia have better extension and speed - particularly in the bass. Also there's significantly better detail retrieval with the Stellia. Imaging is much sharper too. I've lived with the Elegia for a year (bought at last year's show!) but really strongly prefer the Stellia. For example, in the recent Berlin Philharmonic Tchaikovsky 6 you can not only hear terrific instrumental separation and dynamics but you can hear the hall much better, in fact, I noticed the conductor breathing. Another recording was Joyce DiDonato's "Faust" - the articulation and speed is at a whole other level than the Elegia with vocals. Bass is tighter, faster, better and more tactile. The Elegia is a really great, underrated headphone, but the Stellia is better in every regard I can think of. Haven't taken them off in 3 hours now!How much different were the Stellia to the Elegia?
