Always check with the team at the Sennheiser exhibit to see if anyone might not make their appointment, or possibly get on a waitlist that they might have. They did in Chicago, but every event is different.
I am pretty sure, you will find a couple other headphones to listen to, so perhaps it won't be a total waste of coming. You had two and a half days to register for the HE-1 audition.
There is an opportunity to listen to a plethora of superb gear here.

Lots of people double booked as they were going both days as they thought that would be okay, however Elise Audio have stated that is not allowed as they want everyone as possible to get the chance to hear the HE1. I myself double booked thinking this was okay as nothing was mentioned on the link. So send me a PM with your phone number in order that on the first day of the show we can both go to the Sennheiser booth and arrange for you to take one of the slots that I have booked.

Anyone who attended CanJam 2022 would have met a super chilled out Elise Audio team debuting the pre-production Storm. Any future re-run might stipulate one time slot per person. Saw the link when it first appeared and counted (I think) 23 slots per day, which is really not a lot, and it never occurred to me to book more than 1 time slot. Special events are the best or only way for the community to listen to rare flagships like the HE-1 or your Sony Qualia 010. It was far more interesting to think of 'good questions' to ask the reviewer panel

But I agree with @Mired, there are more fair methods to distribute these slots than just post a link at a random time.
