I absolutely had to buy the Monarch MK3. I swear, I think they outperform my Odin.

Is Focal and Hifiman not here? I thought they were going to be here. I want to hear the Susvara.

Absolutely loved the Raven and Radon 6. But star for me was the Stax system. Combined total of over $13K, better start saving.
Halo.
I am presently presant but do not let the pfp deceive, as I am not that lovely creature.

Day one for me is over, stars for me were the NightJar Dualarity prototype and Kinera Loki Emerald. The Dualarity prototype does basshead level bass unlike anything I’ve heard. Absolute grin on my face the entire time those bass notes hit. Incredibly deep and visceral with a low end that just resonates within your entire body, I have heard nothing like it and it still manages to maintain a good level of detail. I think for the estimated price point and more “niche” tuning it’s going for that it won’t be for everyone , but it’s for this guy that’s for sure.
Kinera Loki Emerald reminded me of a higher quality bass Annihilator but less special mids and treble, overall very engaging and fun sound. Not sure how it would last for long term use but it left a very positive impression.
I also loved the VE Aura. It seemed to bring the clarity missing from Phonix and a bit of the beefier low end from Erlkonig with the dual DD.
I was left a tad disappointed by the Volur, great bass and mids but treble was too wonky for me with too much spice and I didn’t think the techs were representative of the price point.
Much more to try tomorrow, I had a blast on day one. Everyone has been SO welcoming and friendly, as if I have met them before. I also got to meet Andrew from Bloom audio who was just as pleasant in person as he is online, as well as MANY other head fi’ers and watercoolers.
Now it’s off for a steak dinner and bar hopping with some friends and family who live in Dallas.

I didn't like them, I prefer the Prestige LTD.I absolutely had to buy the Monarch MK3. I swear, I think they outperform my Odin.
Please tell me you tried some raw low-fi Mayhem with these.
I did play Freezing Moon.
Fun day at CanJam. Spent a lot of time in the ZMF room. Zach, Bevin, Kevin and Katherine were so friendly and helpful. Came close to buying a beautiful mango Caldera, but held myself back.
Great sound was also to be found at the Linear Tube Audio table. Their new “entry level “ amp sounded great.
Also checked out the Violectric amps, which were punchy and fun.
Also the Sennheiser HE1 was a bit mind-blowing
